Nadia Elena Comaneci

The 1976 Montreal Olympic Games was the time when she broke the record by becoming the first person to achieve a perfect 10, in asymmetric bars. Furthermore, she scored six more 10s perfect, making her, at 14 years young, the youngest Olympic medallist in every category. The accomplishment of Nadia Comaneci was not only to draw worldwide attention; she also put Romania onto the map. The sports icon came into the spotlight by achieving an unachievable number of points, thereby becoming a hero and spreading the word about the sport of gymnastics across the world. The sport changed the way people view female athletes. Her performance at the Olympics is significant enough that her toe step (release) as well as the toe step were both named after her on the uneven bars event. Also, she performed very well in World Championships, European Championships and the Olympics. Her performance has made her famous, and she's among the best gymnasts across the world. When she left for the US, this 'Queen Of Olympics began modeling and promoting sports equipment. Nadia Nadia Nadia Nadia 2 Nadia
