Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who reviews Z-grade films typically within the martial arts or horror genre. The style is similar like The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and some morbid pleasure from them. The reviewer began her journey at the end of 2009 when she became popular on their forums. (Under her old username Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to be part of the Channel Awesome team. At the beginning of 2015, she stayed on the website as Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed to Movie Nights. The host hosts two podcasts on the channel. Both cover the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. In addition, she appeared in Brad Jones' movie Jesus Bro! He has also had her as a guest on several episodes of his series Midnight Screenings. She reviews terrible films for children or RiffTrax programs, and also occasionally, she reviews adult comedy (including Baywatch (2017)). The first time she reviewed movies was in 2009. After gaining fame on Channel Awesome forums, she was invited to join the reviewer group. She's been featured on many Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as in Phelous & the Movies. She was featured on numerous shows from Nostalgia Critic and was a former member of the Channel Awesome family with Doug Walker.
