Her three-year stint playing Marina Cooper, in Guiding Light's soap opera earned her nominations for the Soap Opera Digest Awards 2003 in the Outstanding Newcomer category. Between 2007 and 2008, Dollar played Cindy Thomas on the ABC show Women's Murder Club. Dollar played the role of Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in the year 2012. The show wasn't picked up.
